My Story

Graphic Design was it... I was actually going to get paid to do something I loved!
I landed my first job at a local small studio in Birmingham, I was lucky enough to have the dream job that was right up my street...children's products and licensed designs. I was 19 years old, a smile on my face, dreams in my head and I was drawing DISNEY!

My first job lasted over 15 years (I left with lot of experience, a dog and a portfolio to die for). I had progressed from being a Junior Designer, to Head Of Design and winning a few awards along the way.
I now had a huge skillset from Illustration, Design, Branding, Licensed Design and more than anything the experience of seeing a small business grow!

Full of passion I started a business with friends which gained me the experience that I needed but I wanted more!
I wanted to provide a personal touch for customers, I wanted to provide others with the "magic design dust" that gives business' that point of difference, the thing that gets them noticed and how design can enhance their business, so Influential Design was born.

I believe in building relationships, caring for the customer and their story. Many of my customers have been with me along my journey, many are still with me to this day!
I still remember my first contract, the feeling of achievement. I was free, full of passion and doing a job that just came naturally.

Throughout Influential Design I have met many amazing entrepreneurs and business owners; like me they are full of passion for their industry.
With design you link to people and follow their journey and personal growth, this is where I met Jolyon Bennett and the "Juice®" brand was born. Sitting in a Costa Coffee, both a little scared but we both wanted to build the Juice® brand...it's gotta work right?

My Story

Juice® grew rapidly, I lead all things design, brand and packaging. We grew to 33 staff and a turnover of £18 million in 6 years! All this started from a mobile charger in a Juice® shaped carton, 100's of products later and the success of the brand in over 12000 stores, lets repeat this with your business!
